My research interests lies in the syntheses, structural and physical characterization as well as potential applications of new materials with a variety of physical, chemical, electrical and magnetic properties. Before now, my research interest was in Environmental Chemistry having bagged my M.Sc degree in that field with many publications. I have held many junior research/lectureship positions in different institutions. I was a Visiting Research Scholar at the International Center for Materials Science, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Bangalore, India. I bagged the PhD Chemistry degree at Covenant University in 2015. I was awarded the best graduating PhD student in the 2015 Covenant University Convocation Ceremony. My PhD research was titled: synthesis, surface modification and characterisation of optimised magnetic nanoparticles for potential biomedical applications. |
